NESCSO has been working closely with New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts to implement a multi-state contract for MITA 3.0 State Self-Assessment services. CMS requires each State to conduct these self-assessments. NESCSO and the States have pursued a lead-State model for this procurement, with New Hampshire as the lead State. Throughout the year the contractor and states have developed a three phase process for completion of the self-assessment. The states have maintained an aggressive schedule with the estimated completion dates of New Hampshire- March 2018, Rhode Island – May 2018, and Massachusetts – September 2018.
The collaborative approach of the three states and the contractor has increased efficiencies in the process through the ongoing monthly conference calls and quarterly meetings.
